The J. Müller Weser container pier at the Holzhafen has room for up to 2000 TEU. There is one direct train which offers daily service to the main Container terminals in Hamburg. Bremen Holzhafen is directly connected at the river Weser by a barge service from Bremerhaven. This service secures a low cost and environmentally-friendly container supply.
J. Müller Weser uses high-performance reach stackers and cranes to unload and load trains, barges and trucks The container pier is completely integrated in the automated job handling and has special areas for sampling. In collaboration with customers, J. Müller Weser has developed innovative sampling methods for bulk containers that permit direct sampling on the pier. The silo and bag storage areas are directly connected to the container pier and can be served by the reach stackers.
