Handling of iron and steel products has been a central activity at Brake Port for decades now.
Specialisation in handling sensitive hi-tech products such as steel girders and extra-length rails, heavy, weather-sensitive coils, and wire rod or pipes are also part and parcel of our daily business.
For this purpose there are areas reserved along the middle pier directly adjacent to the quay and in the back area. Storage is performed according to customer requirements, with dispatch data received, and after loading returned, by EDI, where required. Loading/unloading of iron and steel products is coordinated with the shipping company, in order to guarantee highest quality of load safety for all participants.
